Lactose can be defined as the kind of sugar which is present in milk and its products. This sugar is normally digested by an enzyme named lactase in the small intestines. However, many nutrition experts usually advice individuals to avoid the products that are made purely from collagen for the amount of proteins in them are too small to assist in making a difference to the body.
